Walk through any historic Cornish village, and you will see the scars. Beautiful, centuries-old killas and granite cottages choking beneath hard, grey masks of modern Portland cement. What was meant to be a quick, waterproof fix has instead become a slow death sentence for the building.
Our passion lies in reversing this damage. We believe that old buildings are living entities. They were designed to breathe the damp coastal air in and exhale it back out. When we painstakingly chisel away suffocating cement to reveal the original stone beneath, we are giving the building its breath back. It is painstaking, delicate work, but we refuse to compromise.
